Dan Ford
Dan trained as an actor at LAMDA and in Writing and Performance at the University of York.
His theatre credits include Three Days of Rain, directed by Jamie Lloyd (Apollo Shaftesbury Avenue); Fat Pig, directed by Neil LaBute (Trafalgar Studios & Comedy Theatre); The Robbers , for The Faction (Ustinov, Bath), John Gay’s farce Three Hours After Marriage, directed by Blanche McIntyre (Union Theatre), his own clown piece LoveSick (Underbelly, Edinburgh) and F**king Men, directed by Phil Willmott (which transferred from a fringe record breaking run at the King’s Head to the Arts Theatre and The Lowry, Salford).
For Analogue: 2401 Objects (National Theatre Studio) and Beachy Head (national tour).
For Slung Low: They Only Come at Night (Barbican and Lawrence Batley Theatre Huddersfield), The Knowledge Emporium (Ipswich New Wolsey) and Mapping the City (Hull Truck).
Television credits include Doctors (BBC).
Roles whilst training included Prince Hal in Henry IV; Bosola in The Duchess of Malfi; Suslov in Summerfolk; DeFlores in The Changeling and Bobby Gould in David Mamet’s Bobby Gould in Hell.
